THE OVERVIEW
The Church
The beautiful historic church was built in1912 and known as ‘All Saints Memerambi’, a small village near Kingaroy. It was relocated within Memerambi in the 1930’s, then to a farm nearby and used as a grain shed in the 1960’s. Then in 1996 it was relocated to Hillview, the roof restored, and it served as a tea house and wedding venue until 1999. From here it was converted into a romantic studio cottage and re-opened in the early 2000’s and offers guests a distinctive and memorable experience by blending heritage architecture with modern comfort. A stay in The Church is more than just accommodation; it’s an immersion in local history and Australian charm. It is ideal for couples, solo travellers seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of character and history or writers, artists and anyone seeking inspiration.
